OKLAHOMA State Incentives
The Oklahoma's Quality Jobs incentive program gives qualifying enrolled companies quarterly cash rebates of up to 5% of taxable wages for up to 10 years. New legislation adds Web portals; other professional, scientific, and technical services; cattle, milk, and egg production companies to the Quality Jobs incentive program.
Oklahoma's Training for Industry (TIP) Program delivers training to qualifying new and expanding Oklahoma companies at no cost. Technical experts at the state level work with company officials and training experts at the local level to design a customized program.
Oklahoma Opportunity Fund is one of Oklahoma's newest incentives. This $45 million fund is targeted to assist in major projects statewide. Funds will be expended for projects which provide a substantial economic benefit to the state through creation of new jobs that offer a basic health benefit plan, as defined in the Oklahoma Quality Jobs Program Act; maintenance of existing jobs that are at risk for termination; investment in new real property, plant, or equipment or in the improvement or retooling of existing plant or equipment; or additional revenues in either ad valorem, income, or sales and use taxes.
